MAC Veneers

Premier veneers custom-designed to match your tooth colour

We are delighted to offer our clients MAC veneers, one of the world’s most popular veneer treatments. MAC veneers are arguably the most lifelike veneers as they are crafted from layers of pressed ceramic material, which are able to create the translucency associated with natural teeth. MAC veneers are different from traditional porcelain veneers because they are available in a huge range of hues. They are also created from several layers of pressed ceramic to give them a lifelike translucence and increased durability. The procedure is the same as getting other veneers such as porcelain veneers.

Are MAC Veneers for me?

If you are looking to improve the aesthetics of your smile and want a natural, radiant look, MAC veneers could be the answer. These veneers produce incredibly attractive smiles but they are also long-lasting and stain-resistant, so the treatment represents an excellent long-term investment.

If you are interested in MAC veneers or other forms of veneer treatment, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us to arrange a consultation. We are also happy to discuss alternate treatments that may be suitable for your particular dental condition.

How do MAC Veneers work?

The procedure is the same as getting other veneers such as porcelain veneers, in which the teeth are treated and an impression is made of the teeth and sent to laboratories so that they can be made to fit each individual tooth. They are then applied to cover the teeth during the second appointment. The main difference with MAC veneers is that the material used combines feldspathic veneer material and the strength of pressed ceramic, and the precision used means that they fit better than other veneers.

Does the procedure hurt?

The treatment is not painful although you may feel slight sensitivity after the procedure, but this will fade quickly.

How long does the procedure take?

Depending on the individual case the overall treatment time can be between 14 days and 1 month. Normally two appointments are needed. The first appointment is used to assess the teeth and make an impression, with colour and size also being discussed. After the veneers return from the laboratory, where they are made using the individual’s impression, they can be fitted onto the teeth during the second appointment.

Advantages of MAC Veneers

They are very precise and can provide a better fit than other veneers. MAC veneers very prestigious and only a small handful of dentist in the UK are able to perform the procedure.

Disadvantages of MAC Veneers

MAC veneers are much more expensive than other veneers because they offer superior quality and they are a lot stronger.
